Meet the people behind RSVP

Born and raised in Haiti, Jose Similus developed an early passion for technology and education. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from INUKA in 2001, he returned to his alma mater to establish its first computer laboratory. The project gave students access to technology and hands-on learning opportunities that had not previously existed, reflecting Jose’s belief that technology can transform lives and strengthen communities.

Jose later earned a Master of Arts from the University of South Florida and completed LaunchCode’s software-development program. Today, he works as an Application Operations Senior Engineer with expertise in enterprise application support, production operations, and system reliability.

Across the financial-services and healthcare-technology industries, Jose has solved complex technical challenges, led operational improvements, and mentored fellow engineers. He continues to look for practical ways technology can open learning opportunities—the same conviction that first led him back to INUKA.

Lioner Clervois is Senior Pastor of The Messiah Worship Center and has served in Christian ministry for sixteen years. His ministry is rooted in the calling expressed in Ephesians 4:11–12: to pastor, teach, and equip others for works of service so that the body of Christ may be built up.

Believing that God’s servants should be both devoted and prepared, Lioner pursued advanced theological education and earned a master’s degree in Pastoral Ministry and Theology. He approaches pastoral care as more than a profession. For him, it is a divine calling that requires wisdom, compassion, unwavering faith, and the gentle heart of a shepherd.

Lioner seeks to follow the servant leadership exemplified by Jesus, lifting others up and pointing them toward the hope found in Christ. Isaiah 40:31 also holds particular meaning for him, with its promise of renewed strength for those who place their hope in the Lord. Through years of teaching, shepherding, and service, Lioner remains committed to God’s faithfulness and to the transforming power of a life wholly surrendered to His service.

Marie Giordani is a devoted follower of God who looks to Jesus Christ as her Savior and the foundation of her life. She is a dedicated wife and mother, an Elementary Education major, and an elementary school teacher with a deep passion for helping children grow.

In her classroom, Marie brings academic learning together with emotional and spiritual encouragement. She works to create a nurturing, engaging environment where every student feels valued and encouraged to grow academically, spiritually, and emotionally. Her care for children also extends to her church, where she faithfully serves in children’s ministry, shares God’s love, and teaches young people about His Word.

Across her family life, classroom, and ministry, Marie seeks to honor God through faith, compassion, integrity, and service. She hopes that the way she teaches and cares for others will make a lasting difference in the lives of the children and families around her.

Marc Giordani is a devoted believer in Jesus Christ, a loving husband, and a hardworking father committed to honoring God through his faith, family, and work. He has spent many years in supply-chain work, taking on leadership, problem-solving, and day-to-day operational responsibilities.

Integrity, dedication, and a strong work ethic guide Marc’s professional life. He strives to lead with humility, meet challenges responsibly, and serve others through the way he works. Those same commitments shape his life beyond the workplace, where faith remains central to how he understands responsibility and service.

As a husband and father, Marc is committed to leading his family with biblical values. He hopes to leave future generations a legacy defined by faith, love, and perseverance—values he seeks to live out consistently at home, at work, and in his relationships with others.
